I have bought various products from Michelle for a number of years and have been nothing less than entirely satisfied with both products and service. Recently ordered bacon - practically zero fat and very wide slices, which always blows all German bacon off the scene, but I was (only) slightly disappointed with the thickness. Only five slices per packet was never a problem for us, as the preferred thickness compensated and German guests were astonished at traditional English quality bacon. The same weight with six slices per packet will definitely NOT stop my enthusiasm towards ordering, but I was slightly surprised.

Now all we need is haslet.

Ich bin früher viel GB gefahren und ich habe das englische Frühstück geliebt. Insbesondere den bacon. Die geräucherte und ungeräucherte Version hier erinnern mich an alte Zeiten. Das Aroma ist perfekt und hat die Beans und den buttered toast perfekt ergänzt. Ich bestelle definitiv wieder.

As with all products, Michelle must be considered a market leader ! The amount, the thickness, the packaging, the delivery time, the enviable price and finally... practically zero fat 😁. Marktkauf and all other German supermarkets, with their 'Traditional English Bacon' - on yer bike !!!

Ein Bemerkung zu Fraukes Bewertung vom 22. Januar : englisches Bacon ist NIE Crispy! Das ist der Grund warum wir Briten nach ein dick-geschnittenes Bacon Sehnsucht haben: das Zeug was mann in den Läden hier in Deutschland kaufen kann ist nach dem erhitzen "burnt to a frazzle".

Der Bacon schmeckt hervorragend. Einziges Manko: die Scheiben sind sehr dick. In den alten Kommentaren würden sie als zu dünn beschrieben... Jetzt würde ich sie mir etwas dünner wünschen. Wir haben 6 Scheiben ja Packung erhalten. Bei gleichem Gewicht wären 8 Scheiben angebracht. Crispy bacon 🥓 is really hard to achieve 😅

Like the smoked bacon, the first time I ordered this after Brexit I agreed with the (smoked bacon) reviews that said the slices were too thin. The second time I ordered it the bacon slices were thicker and much better. The only drawback is the way its packaged. I find it really difficult to separate the slices. For this I can''t give it full points. But good to have bacon again.
